A frontline presidential aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his train visited Imo State for consultations over his bid to fly the flag of the party come 2023.

On his arrival at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, he was received by the former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, Chief Ama Nwaouwa, Chief I.B Okafor among numerous others.

Amaechi had in his entourage, former Governorship Aspirant, Anambra State, Chief George Moghalu, Senator Andrew Uchendu, and Senator Ifeanyi Ararume among others.

It was a colorful reception at the airport with women adorned in attractive traditional attire rendering sonorous songs.

Speaking to newsmen shortly before Rt. Hon. Amaechi’s arrival, Madumere described Amaechi as a man whose time has come, saying he is embued with the requisite ideas to provide a solution to Nigeria’s present problem.

“His trajectory is known by all. He has garnered his experience as a two-time Governor. He was able to whittle down the security tension in Rivers during the era of militancy.

“In the area of infrastructures, he has left no one in doubt of what he can do even as the Minister of Transportation.
