Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, on Friday identified two imminent Nigerians campaigning for the Presidency but are denying it at the same time.
Sani alleged that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele are discreetly campaigning for the Presidency.
In a tweet, the socio-political activist, wrote: “Two people that are denying and their campaign is going on: VP and Emefiele.”
There have been speculations surrounding Osinbajo running for the Presidency in 2023.
But, his spokesman, Laolu Akande, dismissed such claims, stressing that the Vice President would soon declare his stance officially.
Akande insisted that his principal is currently committed to his job of working with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Similarly, Emefiele had denied vying for the Presidency in 2023.
