Nigerian of the year: How Trade Nigeria will mark 2022 Independence Day Celebration


A Nigerian Organization is set to honor outstanding citizens during the 2022 Independence Day celebration.

The award ceremony which is organized by Trade Nigeria and Globe Chamber of Commerce and industry in partnership with the Presidency will encourage Nigerians to be Patriotic and work towards the development of the country.

According to Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, the event will unite Nigerians and   make them know what it means to be part of the country.


He also stated that the event is also in partnership with the governments, international organizations, and business leaders to promote foreign direct investment, economic exchange and trade cooperation amongst others.

The event will take place on the 30th September through the 30th October 2022 in 6 countries of the world which includes Ireland, Kuwait, Japan.

Other countries include Australia, Brazil and USA with trade and investment mogul adding that the event will be a global celebration of Nigerian icons from all works of life as well as the 62nd Independence anniversary of the country.

Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George further stated that the highlights of the program include Business and Multilateral Trade, Foreign Direct Investment, Export Promotion, Build Own Operate and Transfer, Business and Investment Forum etc.


“Nigerian of the year awards is a global initiative that will accelerate the transformation of global trade and investment, and will help connect continents through multilateral trade partnership”. He said

Other feature at the Nigerian at 62 event are: Nigeria Documentary from 1960 to 2022,Nigeria Property Expo International Edition, Nigeria at 62 fashion weekend, Miss Nigeria @62,The green and white ball and many others.

“Events like this help boost our partnership with other countries for economic growth” he said, adding that the choice of countries for the event was strategic and calling on all Nigerians who wish to celebrate our icons to be part of this event.
