To mark the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has hailed the patriotism of armed forced in the country.
Gov. Uzodinma who described those who have given their lives to keep the nation safe as ‘fallen but not forgotten’, said that their sacrifice and self-denial is the reason for the sovereignty and peaceful coexistence we enjoy in Nigeria.

Fallen but not forgotten! That is how I see our compatriots who have paid the supreme price for the territorial integrity of our nation as they sacrificed for us to live, gave in their all and suffered self-denial to pleasure and luxury all because of the love for our sovereignty and peaceful coexistence.
Today, we stand in ovation and reverence to honor members of our Armed Forces for their unwavering patriotism to this great nation and in a special way, I doff my hat for their gallantry in the restoration of peace and tranquility in our dear Imo State.
