The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has arrived at Makkah, Saudi Arabia, to perform the Umrah (lesser hajj) as earlier scheduled.

This was announced by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, on Wednesday.

Sharing the pictures via his Facebook page, Shehu wrote, “President Muhammadu Buhari and some members of the Nigerian Delegation to the Future Investment Initiative Summit depart for Makkah for Umrah (lesser hajj).”

Buhari has been earlier scheduled to visit Medina and Makkah during his trip to the investment summit in Saudi Arabia.
