The Speaker emeritus, Imo State House of Assembly, IMHA , Rt Hon (Dr)
Acho Ihim yesterday in strict compliance to the Covid 19 guidelines,
marked his birthday in a low key with family members and close
associates.
Ihim who could not hide his joy and gratitude to God,
glorified Him for His superfluous grace upon him and his household with
soul-rendering worship songs from the juke box of his musical set.
His wife, Olaedo Acho Ihim rendered very touchy Christian praise songs that cought everyone pants down with tears of joy.
He thanked the invitees for investing faith in him and for their
countless and inestimable sacrifices that has sustained their
relationship.
Speaking matter-of-factly, he restated his vow to keep
living his life for others and labour tirelessly in the Lord’s vineyard
to draw inspiration and more favour.
Though the invitees wore their protective equipments, the
birthday bash had a touch of grandeur and uniqueness that made it very
memorable.
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, CPA Africa region
president emeritus in his characteristic manner treated his guests to
mouth-watering and salivating exquisite local and foreign cuisines and
assorted expensive drinks.
Climax of the very colourful but brief ceremony was the toast and
cutting of the cake in honour of the celebrant and gratitude to God for
His grace upon him.
