Eric Uwakwe Calls On Youths To Support Uzodinma

The Senior Special Assistant to the Imo State Governor on Youth Affairs, Hon. Eric Uwakwa, has called on youths in the state, irrespective of political affiliation, to support, encourage and key into the vision of the Governor Hope Uzodinma, shared prosperity government to turn around the fortunes of the state and restore it’s lost glory.

Hon. Uwakwe who gave this advice at the inauguration ceremony of the Nigeria Youth Congress (NYC), Ezinihitte Mbaise, recently, noted that Governor Hope Uzodinma is youth friendly and has packaged programmes and policies aimed at addressing the needs, desires and aspirations of youths and give them a sense of belonging.

He commended the Hon. Chikezie Oguejiofor led Nigeria Youth Congress in the state and also congratulated the newly inaugurated members of NYC in Ezinhitte Mbaise. He urged them to be diligent and conscientious in the discharge of their duties, and also stressed the need for them to sensitize their members everywhere, on the need to shun crime, violence, thuggery or any form inducement that will make them condescend to the level of making themselves willing tools in the hands of desperate and mischievous politicians.

“I implore you to take advantage of the several empowerment programmes and opportunities packaged by the Governor Hope Uzodinma administration in the areas of Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology and other small and medium enterprises to actualize your dreams, be self reliant and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of your communities and the state”.
