Winners of the maiden edition of the Face Of Afriwood 2020 will have N600,000 and other mouth watering prizes to go home with according to the organizers of the event.
The pageant which is put together by Afriwood Motion Pictures, will go beyond showcasing beauty, but also go a long way in fishing out new talents for the screen, according to the CEO of the brand Urenna Amadi.
Urenna said, they are searching for people who believe they have what it takes to make it at the big scene and not just beautiful and handsome individuals.
“We want the best and when you look at what we have lined up as benefits, you’ll understand we are not here for any form of magic, this is real and we need people with the same mindset to be part of it”, she said while speaking with www.otowngist.com.

Urenna further revealed the contest is designed in a way that only the best can get close to the crown, owing to the fact that the registration fee is just N1,000.
“We’re offering 6 persons an opportunity to win cash prizes, improve themselves and also achieve their dreams of being actors. We decided to make it affordable because for us, it is one way to give back, groom more talents and also empower some persons to realize their dreams” she said.
With male and female categories, winners of the star prize in both categories will receive N150,000 cash prize; One year acting contract; one year ambassadorial contract and an official car
1st and 2nd runners Up will get N100,000 and N50,000 respectively alongside one year acting contract and one year ambassadorial contract each for both the male and female categories.

Registration for the Pageant is N1,000 only and the process kicked off on July 10, 2020, to close on August 11, 2020 and is open to males and females above the age of 18 year.
