The Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment to Imo State Governor, Hon. Chinonye Agogbuo has led a group of entertainers in their move to keep the state clean. 

The monthly sanitation exercise which is tagged ‘Imo Entertainers Keep Imo Clean’, took place on Saturday, July 11, 2020 and saw the group clean up Orlu Road flyover in Amakohia, Owerri and its environs. 

Hon. Agogbuo who was joined by his counterpart on Urban Development, Hon Prince Amanze Njemanze, hailed the entertainers and cordinators of the project for the great initiative.

He assured them of the support of his office, adding that he will do everything in his powers to provide materials needed to make the project less tasky for the entertainers.

Challenging the entertainer to think creatively and globally, Hon. Agogbuo seized the opportunity to assure Imo entertainers of the commitment of the Sen. Hope Uzodinma led administration in making the lives of Imolites better.

The cordinator of the project GTims Babanla, said the exercise displays the readiness of Imo entertainers to in supporting the government to fix the state. 

He said that entertainers who were previously seen as takers are now giving back to the state through the project.

“It is a huge show of responsibility”, GTims Babanla said, adding that “with the response we’re receiving, it shows both Imolites and the government appreciate what we’re doing”

He went on to thank the Senior Special Assistants on Entertainment and Urban Development, Hons. Chinonye Agogbuo and Prince Amanze Njemanze respectively for joining in the exercise, saying that he looks forward to seeing more government officials in the project. 
He thanked his fellow entertainers whom he referred to as the reason and backbone of the project, addind that they will keep doing more. 

He then revealed that the next edition will be on Saturday August 8, 2020.
