Okigwe Senate: See 12 APC Aspirants, as group call for “free and fair” contest

No fewer than 12 persons may contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket of Imo North (Okigwe Zone) Senatorial District.
Sunday Nigerian Horn reliably gathered that the aspirants cut across five out of six local government areas in the zone.

The aspirants include; Senator Ifeanyi Araraume (Isiala Mbano); Chief Chikwem Onuoha (Isiala Mbano); Prof. Ossy Nwebo (Isiala Mbano); Prof. Nnamdi Obiaraeri (Okigwe) and Hon. Acho Ihim (Okigwe).

Others are: Hon. Mark Uchendu (Ihitte Uboma); Eze Okoro (Ehime Mbano); Hon. Bright Nwachukwu (Isiala Mbano) and Senator Athan Achonu (Ehime Mbano).
Dr. Mrs Chidinma Uwajumogu (Ihitte Uboma); Hon. Matthew Omegara (Okigwe) and Dr. Fabian Ihekweme (Obowo).

Governor Hope Uzodimma has been advised to allow the people of Okigwe Zone to select and elect the right person to take over the vacant senatorial seat of the zone.
Speaking to Sunday Nigerian Horn, Mazi Smith Njoku further noted that the people of Okigwe Zone will not want anyone no matter his/her position to impose someone on the zone as senator.
