The member representing Okigwe South federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Chike Okafor on Wednesday donated 100 cartons of noodles to the stranded students in Imo State.

He made the donation through the SSA on Students Affairs to the Governor, Franklin Chinanu.

The federal legislator who was represented by his wife, Deaconess Akudo Okafor, disclosed that her husband was moved by the plight of the students at this period of COVID-19 pandemic.

She said her husband decided to contribute his quota in order to alleviate the sufferings of students who have been locked down because of border closure occasioned by the global pandemic.

She assured that more help will come the way of the students soon.

In his remarks, Franklin Chinanu, the SSA to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Students Affairs, thanked Hon Okafor, for the gesture.

Chinanu said that he has realized why people are always talking good of the lawmaker.
