Tribunal Verdict: Gov. Ihedioha Commends Imo Social Media Community

Imo State Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has thanked social media users in the state for standing by him during the tribunal final verdict on Saturday which affirmed that his victory at the gubernatorial election stands.

The Governor who spoke in a press release signed by his Special Assistant on New Media, Hon. Aic Akwarandu , said the support he got from Imolites during and after the court session was ‘unprecedented’, adding that “the love was infectious and the desire to see the state in safe hands was patriotism defined”

He further said; “For the first time in a long while, Imo people jettisoned political interests, inclinations and parties to protect the future of Imo state.”

“It was an emotional day for us at Imo State Government New Media Centre. All of you who stood for justice and the mandate given to Gov. Ihedioha by Imo people while the court judgements lasted are the real heroes of the state.”

Gov. Ihedioha then assured Imolites that he will sustain the tempo of his government to ‘Rebuild Imo State’, while extending hands of collaboration to all the key players in the state, especially the Imo New Media community.

The manifestation of the wise words from these two renowned writers was experienced on social media yesterday, as Imolites gave their unflinching support to Gov. Emeka Ihedioha, before, during and after the tribunal judgments.
