On 13th Sept. 2019 at about 0730 hours information was received by Maitumbi Division that a cloth of blood was discovered in front of an uncompleted building along Maitumbi-Shiroro road suspected to be of human blood. On receipt of the information, a team of Police patrol was dispatched to the scene were the owner of the building and also the suspect, Tunde Tayo ‘m’ aged 30 years of Ungwan Roka was seen in the scene.

Upon interrogation, he claimed to be clearing grasses grown in the building. Careful examination of the scene of crime by the Police led to the discovery of a male corpse buried in a shalow grave and the suspect was eventually arrested.

The corpse was later identified as Abdullahi Sale ‘m’ aged 25 years of Ungwan Rama, Bosso LGA. Upon exhumation, the corpse was discovered without the head. Investigation is ongoing.
