Ohakim stated that the 30, 000 jobs were created in the environmental sector alone.

He noted that the state government was aiming at setting the standard for cleanliness in Nigeria.

“Gov. Ihedioha has created thirty thousand direct and indirect jobs in one hundred days in the environmental sector alone. At Orlu, at Okigwe and here in Owerri, you will find people who are engaged in various capacities to clean our environment”, Ohakim said.

“They are working everyday. Some are planning trees and grasses. Even the ENTRACO personnel in uniform here had no jobs before now, but today, they are employed. His Excellency wants to set the standard for other states in Nigeria”
