A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has revoked the bail earlier granted the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice Binta Nyako who gave the order on Thursday, directed that a bench warrant should be issued for Kanu’s arrest.

According to the court, Kanu had failed to appear in court after his bail was granted in April 2017.

The court maintained that the trail must continue and therefore directed that a new date for the continuation be given by parties so that the case will continue in Kanu’s absence.
