President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday met with representatives of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) to resolve the crisis generated by the new N30,000 minimum wage demanded by organised labour at the Presidential Villa.

The governors were led by the chairman of the forum and Zamfara chief executive, Abdulazeez Yari.

Those in attendance were governors of Lagos, Kebbi, Plateau, Bauchi, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Enugu and Kaduna states.

It was gathered that a consensus could not be reached as the governors still maintained their N22,500 tally and did not speak to newsmen at the end of the meeting.
