Basking on the euphoria of its successful aspirants/stakeholders meeting held in Owerri on Wednesday, the Imo State Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Barr Peter Ezeobi has revealed why the party have more than 24 governorship aspirants.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the meeting, Ezeobi said the party is a rallying point for all aspirants and the party is determined to ensure a transparent primary election for all contestants.

He maintained that the party has not endorsed anyone, assuring that impunity,imposition would not find its way in the party.

The State party Chairman maintained that the party is run in a democratic manner where every contestant is given to the opportunity to contest.

Ezeobi expressed hope that APGA will win the 2019 governorship election barring rigging and violence, stating that Imo people are alert and ready to get it right this time.
