In appreciation of modern technology with domestic innovation and a prelude to actualizing his dream, Prince Daniel Kanu a frontline gubernatorial aspirant in Imo State on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), recently visited Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) factory at Nnewi,Anambra State where he applauded and appreciated the technological innovation and economic sagacity of the Chief Executive Officer Director of the firm, Engineer (Chief) Innocent Chukwuma.
Prince Kanu who was on a business tour of the factory with his large entourage stated that his passion to industrialize Imo State if elected governor in 2019 is unquenchable, and aimed at creating jobs for the people and enhancing the economic base of the state.
The visitor who was conducted round the various departments and sections of the motor manufacturing factory by the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, expressed delight at various brands and fleets of vehicles manufactured there as well as the technological advancements and innovations involved and commended the manufacturer.
He urged the indigenous vehicle manufacturer not to rest on his oars or be deterred by detractors or unfriendly business environment, but to focus his attention on his laudable achievable goals for the good and development of his people and mankind, adding that no state can grow without commerce and industry.
Prince Kanu further reiterated that if he is elected governor of Imo State such zeal and talents of Igbo sons and daughters who are endowed with several talents that will be of common interest and benefit the general public, would be encouraged and supported by his government.
Responding, Engineer Chukwuma appreciated the politician’s visit urged him to implement his blue print if elected into office and also requested him not to relent in his quest to save Imo State from bad governance, which has been the people’s albatross in the past seven years.
In a similar development, Prince Daniel Kanu visited Idemili North LGA of Anambra State where the wife of the state governor, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano was on a charity mission to indigent persons in the LGA who were given gift items as a way of ameliorating their plight under the prevailing harsh economy.
Chief Mrs Obiano appreciated the presence of Prince Daniel Kanu and his entourage from Owerri, Imo State, who graced the occasion and wished him victory in the forth coming guber primaries of APGA. She appealed to the people to keep supporting APGA, adding that soon all South East states will be governed by APGA while asking the beneficiaries of the gift items not to rely on the widow’s mite but to try and learn a trade to become self sufficient in future, for the sake of their wards and families.
