The decision of the newly inaugurated APC state Exco under the leadership of Daniel Nwafor to have a fresh primaries that selected Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates is brewing trouble in the political camp of the governor.

Trumpeta was told that those who made the first list through the Chris Oguoma Exco organized and couldn’t succeed in the rescheduled one handled by Nwafor are spoiling for war over their inability to be in the final list.

It would be recalled that during the time of Oguoma as Acting Chairman of APC, candidates going for the LGA election paid monies and had their primaries before the Nwafor Exco came in for fresh one which was organized last weekend.

However, the new list of 27 LGA chairmanship and councillorship candidates endorsed by Nwafor and made public has not gone down well with the ones earlier shortlisted after the primaries.

Our reporter has it that in most of the LGAs, Rescue Mission members are unhappy with the final list as complaints of marginalization trail the exercise.

It was learnt that the fresh names are being questioned by those who had their names earlier adopted in the Oguoma exercise.

Places like Ezinihitte, Aboh, Njaba, Ahiazu, Okigwe, Ohaji/ Egbema, Oguta LGAs are involved where those affected are threatening to keep off from the group over the manner they were treated.
