Joining the band of Nollywood stars who turned politicians, Chima Ewurum has revealed that he is venturing into politics to make impact in the society.

Chima Ewurum who is popularly known as Mr. Kyze had a good time in the gospel music ministry, before venturing into acting and movie production and in a chat with www.otowngist.com, he revealed that his movie career flourished most in 2018 because he landed lead roles in both normal and cinema movies.

Playing the lead role in cinema flick ‘Our Secrets’, ‘Cry of a Kingdom’, ‘The Violated’, amongst others, Chima Ewurum believes it is time for him to move on and face a fresh challenge in politics because no one can make a difference from the outside.

“I’m in politics because it’s the right time to answer the call. The leaders of tomorrow is for participants and onlookers and observes never make any change”, he said.

He further said; “Being in politics does not stop me from being involved in movies as I’ll keep acting and producing movies because it is also part of me. I want to combine influencing change with movies and also implementing it in reality”

“So far I can’t say that I am contesting for this or that, but I am in now and we will see what happens next. It is time for youths to take up the mantle of leadership in this country and that is what I and other young people in politics are doing”
