United Progressive Party UPP gubernatorial aspirant Hon. Tony Nwulu has promised to equip the health center in Umuezala Ehime Mbano L.G.A Imo state when he attended the funeral service of late Mrs. Geraldine Chukwu.
Described as a wonderful woman, Late Mrs. Chukwu, the mother of Mr. Kelechi Kinsley Chukwu, the Coordinator of Hon. Nwulu’s Mezie Imo Movement, was laid to rest on Thursday July 26, 2018 at her home town and in solidarity, the Ezinihitte Mbaise born House of Reps member graced the occasion alongside other dignitaries.
Hon. Nwulu who refused to politicize the funeral ceremony, said the sober event is worth more than any political ambition and instead of talking about ambitions, it is better people reflect on their lives, seeing death as a journey awaiting everyone.
He said that the death of Mrs. Chukwu touched him, adding that losing a mother is one of the most painful memories anyone can ever face, paying that God will grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“Losing one’s mother is one of the most painful and stubborn memories in the life of children. Anyone that has lost a parent before can easily appreciate the pains of Kelechi Chukwu and his siblings over the unfortunate loss of his mother. Death is inevitable, and it is a test of one’s faith to suffer tragedies in life” he said.
He then promised to equip the health center in Umuezala Community adding that when people look back, the equipment will remind them of the times of Late Mrs. Geraldine Chukwu.
