In a bid to meet up with their ‘Redefining Africa to the world through beauty and creativity’, slogan, the organizers of Face of Arise Africa Pageant last weekend took the contestants on a drill of skill acquisition.

According to Mr. Ikechukwu Anyanwu, the CEO of Face of Arise Africa Magazine, owners of the pageant, the 2018 edition of the pageant will celebrate beauty and brain, adding that the contestants are being groomed in a way that they would still see themselves as queens even without a crown.

“This year’s edition of Face of Arise Africa pageant is not just about being beautiful, having poise, dancing, dressing well, having the curves, glam and glowing physically. It’s all about having all these in your brains too. The edition is all about intellectual boldness, courage and strength. The ability to speak in a manner that would cause actions to be made”

“Women are the most powerful beings in the world, not by physical strength, but by our internal strength. A woman can lift up or bring down kingdoms. The contestants were taught blogging, Ankara Shoe and Hand Bag Making, Public Speaking and other techniques to survive as an Entrepreneur.

Resource persons at the skill acquisition include Miss Ebube Chiboka (Ankara Shoes and Hand Bag); Miss Innocent Miracle and Mr. Onyedikachi Chimezie (Levels of Leadership, Hardwork); Mr. Ikechukwu Anyanwu (Business Start Ups: How to Become A successful Entrepreneur); Miss Aham Nancy and Mr.Desmond of Channels IMSU (Importance of having good strong moral values), Miss Adaku Duru and Mr. Tim Uwakwe (Blogging and how one can make money online).

The event which is billed for Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Rockview Hotels Owerri, Imo State, will also feature the ‘Arise Africa Distinguished Personalities & Best Brand Awards. It will kick off by 3:00PM with Red Carpet while Vickylonia, Petronila and E-berrywill be on stage as hosts.
