The Gubernatorial ambition of House of Reps member Hon. Tony Nwulu has been boosted as more Imo leaders rally round the Ezinihitte Mbaise born politician.
The accomplishments of Hon. Nwulu who has been described as ‘the 2019 beautiful bride of Imo Politics’, made Dr Ikechukwu Eze, a renowned medical practitioner from Njaba LGA say that Imo people should rally round the young man who has made the State proud far away in Lagos State and beyond the country, having championed the ‘Not-Too-Young-To-Run’.
Dr. Eze said “even when I haven’t met him, his conduct at the National Assembly and how he has transferred his popularity from Lagos State to Imo state within a short time are amazing. This has made him the rallying point.
“He is good to go and I call on other leaders of thoughts in Imo State to join him to rebuild Imo State”
Chief Desmond Iwuchukwu, a great son of Onuimo LGA, also praised the United Progressives Party UPP aspirant for his determination to run for the 2019 Gubernatorial Election, adding that Hon. Nwulu has both everything on his side; age, zoning and capacity.
According to Chief Iwuchukwu, “2019 is for Owerri zone and Nwulu is our choice. He is young, articulate, experienced and even the zoning issue favors him because I’m an advocate of Owerri Zone for 2019”.
In another development, Hon Tony Nwulu received the blessings of His Royal Highness, HRH Eze Desmond Oguguo, Nmiri Na-Ezoro Oha 1 of Eziudo Ancient kingdom of Ezinihitte Mbaise,Imo State.
Hon. Nwulu who visited the palace of the royal father alongside his Mezie Imo Movement, told the monarch that his mission was to obtain his blessings and also solicit for his support. He also assured Imolites that he is fully prepared for the general election and not in the contest as a joker.
The royal father prayed for Hon. Nwulu’s ambition, and then called on Imolites to support him.
