Having reported that Hon. Tony Nwulu formerly of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has dumped the Umbrella party for the ‘Tiger Head’ United Progressive Party UPP, the House of Reps member have taken to social media to share his UPP banners.
Hon. Nwulu share a UPP banner on instagram with the caption ‘The Tiger is set to roar!!!’, confirming the news that he is no longer running for Imo Guber under PDP.
Needing no introduction in Nigerian politics, Hon. Nwulu has made a name for himself which generation unborn will live to remember when President Buhari signed the Not too young to run bill into law.
With his courage to push the bill making placing him above his contemporaries, the Ezinihitte Mbaise born politician has been described as a round peg in a round hole with supporters of the United Progressive Party UPP already celebrating his entrance into the party.
“The agitation for youth’s involvement should be left with those who have idea of what the youths want and those who are very accessible to the people. Hon. Nwulu is a people oriented leader who does not surround himself with the bravado associated with power. He is humble, friendly and accommodating. In fact, if you encounter the young man without knowing, you may need to be informed that He is the iroko tree where the flag has been raised for Nigerian youths to ascend to power”,
“As the 2019 election draws closer, the people must look closely before deciding those to lead them. Hon. Nwulu fits in for the agitation being made for the youths to take over. Not just because of the not too young to run bill, but because of his experience, youthful nature, charisma, humility and wide range of connections across board. Hon. Nwulu is the beautiful bride of Imo come 2019”, an ardent supporter of the ‘Youth Constituency’ campaign in Imo State wrote on social media about the 39 year old House of Representatives member for Oshodi/Osolo Federal Constituency in Lagos State.
Next would be for Hon. Nwulu to move his Mezie Imo campaign team into UPP and then expand to conquer Imo State political terrain.
