Ace Imo State born music producer Ikesom Njoku aka Somik and his entire family has been thrown into since April 8, 2018 when his mother died.
According to a family source Mrs. Grace Chinyere Njoku who was ill for a while died after all medical attention proved abortive and Somik who has his name printed in the history of modern day music in Imo State, said “It was a sad day for all of them”
“We all wanted her to be here with us, but God knows the best. She has been our pillar and everything; I would never wish for a better mother than her”
“No one wants to lose his mum because even when you are married, they are still very special. Now we have just memories of her which we will keeping hearts when we look at everything we couldn’t have achieved without her”, Somik said in tears.
According to a release by the family, the remains of Mrs. Grace Chinyere Njoku will leave Aladinma Mortuary for a lying state in her residence at Plot 146 Chidi Marume Avenue Area B New Housing Estate New Owerri, Imo State before a funeral service led by the Assemblies of God Church New Owerri Section, Owerri District.
Mrs. Grace Chinyere Njoku who died at the age of 58 will be laid to rest at the same venue by 12:00 noon.
