His words: “I, Prince Ezeakonobi Madumere, the Deputy Governor of Imo State, heartily felicitate with fellow Imolites on this Christmas Season.

I urge you all to celebrate Christmas by showing love to all and sundry and above by sharing with those who do not have. Pay a visit to the orphanage and give those less privileged children sense of belonging. Let them feel loved. You can also extend this same love of Christ to the poor among you, give them hope believing that it is our father in heaven you are doing it unto.

Importantly, too, remember that the season is to reflect on the significance of Christ and His goodness upon us and not an occasion to die carelessly. And because Jesus Christ is the reason for the season, I charge all motorists to drive with caution by observing all road safety rules and regulations. And for those indulging, kindly exercise some restraints, observing the fundamental principle of health and temperance. As you celebrate to live to celebrate other festivities, May God bless you and grant you peace and joy that surpasses human understanding.”
