Afropop singer, Unabunwa Samuel Chizoba Wesley aka Sauw Blaze has been elected president of the Indigenous People of Ogwa IPOA.

Ogwa which is one of the largest communities in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State under the platform IPOA elected Suaw Blaze alongside others to pilot th affairs of the association.

Speaking after the election, Sauw Blaze who has made a huge mark via his MOF Group, said he feels elated to be found worthy of leading the largest movement in Mbaitoli LGA. He thanked members of the BoT of the association and others who supported him during the election.

IPOA is saddled with the responsibility of advocating for the welfare, wellbeing and self-actualization of every Ogwa indigene and in his manifesto, the new President said; “No Sacrifice is too big to make for the betterment of our Mother land. The Land of Our Nativity is at this point in need of men; men who shall work assiduously with like minds in tangential synergy to create a dream community. A community where education is not only free but the quality is at par with global standard and the environment is suitable for learning. I envision Ogwa where crime is alien given to the strategic engagement of the unoccupied youths, a town where talents are harnessed for the pride of the people and a place where prosperity is the trademark”

Having served in the outgoing executive as the Director of Socials, he commended the outgoing president Barr Ikenna Kingsley and his excos for the feat they achieved especially the ‘One Child, On Book’ campaign which thy initiated in Ogwa land, pledging to sustain their achievements.
