Just two days after the burial of Imo State based rapper Dawn Tawn, the entertainment industry in the East of the Niger have been struck with another death as it has been reported that prolific comedian MC Worthy is dead.
According to sources close to the comedian, the tragedy began few hours after mid night on Monday, February 13, 2017, when the comedian slumped after screaming of pains in his head. The source also said that he was later taken to Federal Medical Center Owerri, where he was confirmed dead.
The cause of his death is still a mystery and it will be recalled that few weeks back, he was celebrated by friends when he acquired a brand new car.
MC Worthy has made many high profile comedy appearances including ‘Night of a Thousand Laughs’. His death will be the second in Imo State entertainment industry for the year 2017 and it will surely be a big dent on the Valentines mood in the city.
