Make God the foundation of your job, Deacon Chike Okafor charges bankers

Member representing Ehimembano/ihitte Uboma/Obowo Federal constituency of Imo State at the House of Representatives, Deacon Chike Okafor has charged bankers to make God the foundation of their job.

Deacon Okafor who made the statement in Owerri, during a programme organized by Bankers Fellowship of Christ Embassy Owerri, on Saturday, November 5, 2016 said that when God is the foundation of their jobs, every other thing will be falling in place. Sharing his life’s experience on the programme organized to show the benefits of being a born again banker, he said that everything started turning around when he got born again and realized that there is no limit to what God can do for those who serve him. He further described the word of God as a ‘limit breaker’, adding that; “God’s word is the only thing you need to navigate through life no matter where you find yourself”

Deacon Chike Okafor who ministered in words and music at the event, enjoined other bankers and at the event to draw inspiration from the testimonies shared at the programme, insisting that one’s life will be disjointed when he is motivated by things of lesser values.

“Let the purpose of your banking be for the advancement of the kingdom of God”, he said. He then added that; “If God discovers you’re not a part of his plan and purpose, he will replace you with someone else”, urging them to always invest their resources at the altar of God, which will never let them be put to shame.

He urged participants to be hardworking because ‘he who does not work will not eat’, charging all to stay away fraudulent activities because they are not of God.

“It does not matter who your boss is, you must succeed, and no matter who tells you to do wrong things, you’ll boldly say no. if you must struggle, struggle to be in God’s plan and never be ashamed of the Gospel”, Deacon Chike Okafor said.

The event was also marked by talk shows and musical ministration by renowned gospel music minister, Preye who watered the lives of guest in praise and worship at the event which took place at Rock View Hotels, Owerri, Imo State.
