The Staff of Ministry of Commerce and Industry are charged to braced up to the task of ensuring that the policies and programmes of the
State Governor towards industrialization of the state are achieved.

The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Chief Chidi Ibeh who gave the charge during his maiden meeting with Heads of Department of the Ministry expressed confidence in the caliber of staff and reminded them of the challenge of ensuring the turnaround of the state economy.

Chief Ibeh said that the government’s policy of establishment of factories and employment through self-sustenance in agriculture would not be achieved without hardwork and sincerity on the part of the staff pointing out that the State Governor, Owelle Rochas has provided an enabling environment for establishment of industries and factories in the state.

The Commissioner enjoined the Heads of department to develop a blue print on what their department could do to help the government fashion out a roadmap for the Ministry.

The Permanent Secretary, Mr. John Uzoma promised that the staff of the Ministr5y would be loyal to the government policies.
