The Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has informed of his intention to employ 3,000 young graduates into the state civil service.

Addressing a press conference in Owerri, the state capital, Monday, the Governor said that the graduates would be computer literates.

According to Owelle Okorocha the idea was to provide meaningful means of livelihood for the thousands of youths in the state and as well as injecting fresh blood into the state civil service, so as to encourage productivity.

While exploring the youths of the state to take the advantages of his Government in making the state better, he reiterated that he meant well for the state.
The Governor also disclosed his intention to permanent the appointment of the beneficiaries of Imo Youths Must Work Teachers.

Owelle Okorocha said that despite the lean resources from the Federal Government occasioned by the economic recess, he enthused that he remains committed to making sacrifices that would develop the state.
