The All Progressive Congress (APC), candidate, in the July 23rd  Imo North Senatorial election and the former Speaker of the Imo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, has assured the people of Okigwe zone that he will earn their trust and respect through quality representation, if elected as the senator representing the area in the National Assembly.

This is even as he pleaded with those who were aggrieved with the conduct of some of his former aides, his associates and his party, not to take out their grievance on his person, but judge him fairly as their son who deserves their considerations and love, stressing that it would be wrong, as well as, amount to serious act of injustice if people are judged and convicted for the sins of other people.

Uwajumogu who made the remarks at a stakeholders meeting in Onuimo local government council recently, urged Ndi Okigwe to have faith in his ability to turns things around for the good of  people, saying he will work hard, as well as, put in his all to earn their trust and respect through purposeful and impactful representation. According to him, ” within my first six months in office, I will earn your trust and respect by the achievements I will record. Anybody who is going to represent Okigwe zone in the senate will be representing a senatorial district rich in character and quality of men”, adding, ” am aware our zone has great potentials that need to be nursed and harnessed. I have come with the experience, the capacity, the intellect, the political party advantage, humility and fear of God to solicit for a chance to harness all these resources for the betterment of the people of Okigwe zone and to the glory of God”. While stating that he has already developed a blueprint that will guide his administration if elected, Uwajumogu said he was able to keep all the promises he made to Ihitte-Uboma people when he represented then in the state Assembly, maintaining that he will do everything humanly possible to keep his promises to the people of Okigwe zone and Ndi Igbo
