The members of the House of Representatives, Abuja, Thursday, poured encomiums on the life and time of the late paramount ruler of the Owerre Nchi ise ascent Kingdom in Imo State, His Royal Majesty Emmanuel Emenyeonu Njemanze.
The motion on the deserved tributes on the late Ozurigbo V of Owerre Nchi ise ascent Kingdom was moved by the member representing Owerri federal constituency of the state, Hon Ezenwa Onyewuchi, describing his death as a big loss not only to his community and state but to the entire federation.
Hon Onyewuchi asserted that the departed monarch was an epitome of cultural dignity who spent his time in dispensing justice to all and sundry.
Other lawmakers who contributed extolled the virtues of love, patriotism and unity which the dead king was known for. A minute silence was observed in honor of the deceased pharmacist turned traditional ruler by the lawmakers.
