Chief executive officer of Ibarri Mbano kitchen in Isiala Mbano local Government Area of Imo State, Hon Bathram Iwuala has stated that he was not comfortable about how independent National Electoral Commission was handling Okigwe Senate/House of Assembly re-run.

Iwuala expressed this in his office at Amaraku in Isiala Mbano while interacting with newsmen on the Okigwe zone election re-run. He stated without mincing wards that if the new INEC Chairman, Prof. Yakubu muhammed cannot handle Okigwe election re-run with his power, how can he convince the public that he can conduct good election in the whole of 36 states in Nigeria in 2019.

The youth mobilizer said that Okigwe sons and daughters are being denied their legitimate political right, adding that it was sad that the 2016 budget has been passed without the inclusion of Okigwe zone because they have no senator. He complained bitterly over the ineffectiveness of the current INEC chairman stressing that they are afraid of the 2019 general election because of how difficult he is finding it to conduct only Okigwe re-run election. Iwuala informed INEC that they are not only suffering the candidates but also Okigwe Citizens who have been waiting patiently for the election re- run date to be announced.

The Amaraku in Isiala Mbano born politician urged president Mohammad Buhari,  senator from other zones of the state, National Assembly members including top politicians in the country to mandate INEC to fix date for Okigwe senatorial re-run so that they will get what belongs to them. He advised Senator Athan Achonu and Hon. Lady Joy Mbawuike supporters never to lose confidence, maintaining that come any day, Mbawuike and Senator Athan Achonu will emerge victoriously.

While informing Okigwe North Citizens that Hon. Obinna Onwubuariri will do more than his predecessors, even as he also urged them to have little patience with Hon. Engr. Obinna Onwubuariri, adding that nothing will make him not to fulfill his campaign promises.
