Despite the crisis currently rocking the Imo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (Samdaddy), is still optimistic that the party will be reclaiming power from the ruling All Progressives Alliance, APC come 2019.

Senator Anyanwu made the comments while answering questions from newsmen in Owerri Imo State, during the dedication service of Emmanuel Kamsiriochukwu Iwuanyanwu, son of elder statesman, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, at the Cathedral of Transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ, CATOL, on Easter Sunday.

He described the recent party crisis as normal occurrences that will make them better and stronger ahead of 2019 guber election, adding that PDP is the most generally accepted party in the country, irrespective of what they have gone through recently.

“There is no crisis in Imo PDP. The things that are happening are normal because we are going to win the governorship election in the state in the next general election” the Ikeduru born politician said.

Senator Samdaddy who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions assured the party supporters that all motion has been set in place to make the party better, and the party chieftains are working assiduously to make sure it takes over Douglas house as quickly as possible.

He then urged the members of the party to remain calm as according to him the party will reclaim the soul of the state as soon as possible
