Barring any last minute change of plan, the governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha will for the first time since after the governorship elections in the state in 2015, come face to face with his major political opponent in the state, Chief Emeka Ihedioha as an elder statesman cum business mogul, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu dedicates his son, Emmanuel Kamsiriochukwu Iwuanyanwu to God.

The church dedication service which starts at 9am Sunday at the Owerri diocesan headquarters, Catol in the state capital, of the church of Nigeria, Anglican communion promises to have politicians across political parties, business experts, technocrats and academics, including Governor Okorocha, Chief Ihedioha,the deputy governor of the state, Prince Eze Madumere, former governors of the state, Chiefs Achike Udenwa, Ikedi Ohakim, senators Ifeanyi Araraume, Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, Hope Uzodinma , T. Orji, Chris Anyanwu in attendance .

The Member representing Mbaitoli /Ikeduru federal constituency in the house of Representatives, Abuja, Hon Henry Nwawuba, Hon Bede Eke, Hon Obinna Onwubuariri, the minority leader of the state house of Assembly, Hon Obinna Egu, Mike Iheanatu, amongst other top politicians are expected at the dedication service.

Chief Iwuanyanwu, 74, is a member of the Board of Trustees of the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP. He is the publisher of the Champions newspaper and a one-time presidential aspirant. Source close to the billionaire business man cum politician said that he is excited about the arrival of the child of his old age and is spending hugely for the ceremony. The post church service ceremony takes place at his palatial residence at Orji.
