In the event which took place at the Corporation’s premises, the staff described the committee as the best they have ever had and congratulated them for showing the world that IBC is really a revenue generating parastatal.

In an address by the chairman of the Corporation’s labour Unions, Comrade Sam Eke said that Chief Ajumbe and his committee has given IBC a facelift against the general notions that they are revenue consumers instead of generators.

He thanked them for their good works and understandings when it seemed like they will be in war without end with labour union, adding that the ability of the Committee to handle the staff issues and rejuvenate the Corporation, earned Chief Ajumbe a commission slot in Governor Rochas Okorocha’s cabinet.

He described the award, as something the committee merited and something everyone will never forget in a short time because of the glaring impacts they have made in the Corporation within a short time.
