A mob of angry customers have attacked and destroyed properties belonging to MTN Nigeria at their office located at Wetheral Road Owerri, Imo State.
The unrest started as a result of the growing number of customers whose lines have been blocked by the telecommunications company recently as well as the low number of people attending to them.

The South African company has recently been fined by Nigerian Communications Commissions [NCC], but it did not stop them from blocking lines belonging to people who have previously registered them in the name of incomplete registration.
The office was saved by the police who used force and tear gas to disperse the crowd.
