The Imo State chapter of Madonna University Alumni Association [MUAA] has commiserated or condoled with their President, Barr. Modestus Mahakwe Madu on the death of the father, Mr. Anslem U. Madu.
During a condolence visit at Barr. Madu’s residence in Owerri, members of the Association in their numbers sympathized with their president while on him and his entire family to have faith in God who gives and takes, lives as he so wishes and desires.
In a condolence message signed by the Secretary of the Association, Miss Nelly Chinwe Obi, late Mr. Anslem U. Madu was described as a great man who was blessed with wonderful CHILDREN.
It further stated that his life time on earth can never be regarded as a waste when his personal achievements will be recounted as well as those of his children.
Responding, Barr. Modestus Madu thanked members of the Association for their goodwill, adding that even though the death of his father was devastating, he still finds solace in the comfort in God’s promise as well as encouragements from friends.
Late Mr. Anslem U. Madu who hails from Umuochamoko, Amuzi, Ahiara in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA was 85 years and will be buried on Saturday May 23, 2015.
A release by the family has it that the funeral mass will be held at St. Judes Catholic Church Parish Amuzi, Ahiara, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA by 11: 00am, with internment thereafter at Madu’s compound in Umuochamoko, Amuzi.
