One of the frontline sound engineers in Imo State, Okechukwu Danladi Omeire [aka Sarge Mix] has finally made his hidden project open, calling it ‘The Art of Sampling’ [AOS].
According to Sarge, the volume one of AOS which is a quarterly hip-hop album produced by him, will be having guest appearances of talented Imo State based rappers.
He said “The album is a celebration of sampling as an art-form, the versatility of performing artistes in the rap genre in Imo State and its thriving alternative hip-hop culture”
He also revealed that the first edition of the album will be featuring talents like F2, Profingaz, Iajay, Treasure Gold, 2Blac and LMG.
To take the project to another level, Sarge revealed that he is working on a marketing/distribution deal with iroking.com and when the deal is sorted out, it will see the project distributed and marketed beyond the shores of the country.
