A stakeholder in Imo State, Chief John Enyogasi (Ok 2000) has said that he is supporting Governor Rochas Okorocha for a second term to enable him complete his job because he is managing the resources of Imo State very well.
Speaking, exclusively to Community Watchdog in Owerri, he stated that his area, Onuimo has benefitted very much from APC government than PDP in terms of infrastructure, stressing that they have everything now in Onuimo than in the past when PDP was ruling. He said they have benefitted under APC in terms of roads, hospitals, school buildings, appointments etc, unlike when PDP was in power. He remarked that PDP did nothing in Onuimo because someone who is nobody and has nothing, was controlling the local government money.

He decried the situation whereby a Local Government Transition Committee Chairman was living in a hotel and sharing the local government monthly allocation in the hotel but Rochas Owelle Okorocha is overseeing everything now, reiterating that the Governor never allows any money to be shared in hotel unlike when PDP was in power.
Under PDP, Ok 2000 also disclosed that the local government chairman did not think of development but they were after money. He revealed that the idea of running the council from the booths of their cars has disappeared under Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s government. Unlike the Ghana must go cash carrying under the PDP government, Okorocha is working which is why money is no more being shared. The multi millionaire Onuimo businessman said he is not an APC member but a stakeholder in Onuimo local government, whose duty is to support any government that is doing well. He promised to support Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to fight corruption in Nigeria, insisting that only Buhari has the capacity to tame the cankerworm of corruption and insecurity.
The father of Onuimo as he is fondly called, said according to their zoning arrangement, Imo House of Assembly favours Mr. Chinedu Offor of APC from Aboh Okohia ward if only to ensure justice and fairness, in the distribution of power, government largesse infrastructural facilities and political appointments.
