Sequel to an open letter to On-Air-Personalities in Imo State by a presumed artiste, Chukwuemeka Austin Ekwe aka Sque-Sque, more lashes are hitting the OAPs after the letter which was originally published on www.otowngist.com was later republished by some newspapers in the state.

Content of the letter which criticized the way some OAPs in Imo State looked down on artiste, would come up again after music producer, Yung Roc through his Facebook account cautioned a certain OAP who has been castigating his jobs.
According to Yung Roc’s post, he would not understand why someone would be making such assertions when his jobs are still there making airplays every day.
“The truth is my productions will continue to occupy the airplay alongside other talented, wonderful producers in Imo State. So there’s no need killing yourself Mr. OAP”
In another post, he wrote “So Dear OAP, if you think I’d come and bow at your feet before I get recognized on your radio channel, I must tell you this, only the short men climb Sycamore tree to get noticed. Recognition comes from God and not you”
He cited the artistes like XBusta, LMG, Skutch, Harmony, F2, Eeedris Abdukareem, KLarge et al, saying that if the resulting songs are not wacky, how can someone go on calling him a wacky producer.
All though he has refused to say the name of the OAP, there is speculations that it would be one of the known male OAPs in either Hot or Zanders FMs.
Although fans and friends are asking Yung Roc to forget the OAP and move ahead, there is still pressure on him to say the name of the OAP and what he actually said.
With things like this happening, it might be giving 2015 the same start 2014 had when series of open letters were written on blogs in the state.
Whatever it is, entertainers in the state should learn to be humble; understanding there is no gain in playing gods that would never last.
