He said that as a young producer who has the ambitions of making it to the top, one needs to have good work ethics that will guide him to avoid getting entangled in the complex nature of the industry and people in it.
“I have understudied great producers, worked with some great artistes as well; one thing entertainers mostly lack is humility and this goes a long way to paint us as arrogant and proud.
I want to come out with a different concept especially where it concerns how I interact with people. I know my sounds will mostly speak for me, but I still need to work on my personality to balance everything at the end of the day.
Humility makes everything simple for me and it also makes everyone equal in my sight, I don’t believe in class or in achievements, I just want to work with people, giving them the best sounds and attitude as well because I am marking my sounds, I am also marketing my brand”
Zikay who is the head producer at XCulture E Media Studio at Okigwe road, has been behind some good hits in recent time as a producer, he is also a singer with songs like ‘Faith’, ‘You Can run Away’, ‘Wedding Day’ and ‘Jaiye lo’ to his name.
