“People Mistake me for Kefee”…..This is a line the singer, Eny-G, tries to explain away every time someone gives the credit of her music to the Branama Queen, Kefee (Of blessed memory).

Yes, her works have been grossly mistaken to be done by Kefee and the young singer wants everyone to know that she respects and admires Kefee’s works but that her calling is different and she is committed to following God’s course for her life. Hopefully, with this release,  it will be easier to identify Eny-G and differentiate her works from any sound-alikes.

ABOUT THE ARTISTE
Enobong Samuel Nkanta, better known as Eny G, is a gospel artiste who is relentless about sharing the gospel through songs. She was born in Nov 18,1988 and  is currently an undergraduate of Mass Communication in Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic.

She is humble, God-fearing, and obviously, these are offshoots of a child raised in a good Christian home. Hence, she has stuck on to sharing the gospel even after losing both parents that showed her the way of the Lord.

Eny-G started her music career as a teen in the church choir, where she was noted for her impressive soprano delivery. She came into solo music ministry fully in 2010 when she recorded her first single “Uyai Abasi” and this was followed up with another song titled “I Wonder”.

On the release of her current single. “All That I have”, Eny-G got endeared to Yoruba speaking Nigerians who listened to this song and this prompted her to go ahead and shoot an epic video that has cross ethnic undertones and appeal.

She nods to the efforts of singers like Cece Winans, the late Kefee and Asa whom she regards  as role models for her in music.

She can be easily identified by her love for African attires and her signature hair-cut. Her aim is to impact lives positively through her songs, and this is what she values above every other thing.

Eny-G likes keeping fans of her music guessing and this is why she ensures she gives them something a bit away from what could be expected of her. Let’s anticipate what’s coming next from her…You never know what it could be!
