The track “Play” is a fusion of afro-beat and afro-pop, which is the reigning genre of music in Nigeria and many parts of Africa. This sends the right signal to the music world that out of Africa, right inside Nigeria is a force to reckon with in the music industry. The track features AKAS, another music guru who has made name in the dancehall style of music.
“SQUAD E” was born in Kaduna as Emmanuel Reuben, a song writer, singer and a recording artist. He started his music career early in life as a chorister. In 2002, he started a music group together with his friend called SQUADPAC under which “Gbedu”, their first single was dropped.
In 2010, he went solo and was in the music tour with STAR QUEST. He later signed in with APEVIBEZ RECORDS in 2011 where he released his first official singles, “Pretty fine girl” and “No gain”
