It was yet another thrilling performance from rapper, Money Making and other Imo State based artistes who performed at the second edition of MC Ichie’s Comedy Crusade at Hilton Park Hotel and Resort, Nike, Enugu State.
With his usual roaring baritone freestyle, he was able to spark up the crowd in the cold night, getting them on their feet to cheer as he threw his rhymes like punches at them.
Money Making got on to the main business with his new single, ‘Shaba’ and then brought back the energy he is known for in ‘Good to go’ with fellow rapper, Treasure Gold who was also a guest artiste at the event.
The event also had top comedian Dauda who kept the crowd laughing all the way with his ‘concentrated jokes’, Laughing Gas, Overall, Zanzino, Shedrak & Mishak and other comedians were still on the microphone at the event which ran through to the early hours of Monday, June 30, 2014.
Acharaman, Regiz, Rydas, Frixoul all took the stage with nothing but the best performances that kept the event alive, while Floxy performed her much talked about single ‘Are you ready’ for the Enugu crowd.
After the event, Money Making who took to stage with an outfit that is more of gold, said he is happy for the way things have turned out, thanking people of Enugu State for the support they showed him.
“It is not my first time here, but it was lovely out there, the people were so awesome and I can’t thank them enough. They showed me that they wanted nothing but the best performance, and that was what I gave them.
I am so proud of everyone that went on stage today, we showed our quality, we made them see we were not just hyped, but can do everything that was said on the news earlier” He said.
