It appears to the entire community as a poem or drama especially the immediate family of one Onuoha of Umuagwu Ejemekwum Autonomous Community in Oguta L.G.A which lamented bitterly pertaining the sacrilegious and unpleasant act in the community which emanated as a result of unreligious treatment.
The grave of late Mrs Charity Amaechi Onuoha who was buried six years ago, was excavated recently. This happened after an uninvited visitation of an anonymous man within their compound. The content of this visit was the exchange of Ten million Naira (N10, 000 000) for their late mother’s grave. The visitor made it known to the family that he wants some parts of their late mother’s body since she was a known ‘ALBINO’ before she died.
The family of Onuoha was terrified with this barbaric offer of Ten Million Naira in place of their late mother grave. The Onuohas knowing and understanding the implications of exhuming the body, the family of Onuoha absolutely abhorred to such ungodly offer and conversation was disallowed.
A week after this visit, it came to the notice of the family members of Onuoha on a faithful morning that the same grave of their mother has eventually been dug and covered with fresh Red mud.
According to Michael Dungbo a suspect, who has been apprehended and handed over to the police, he stated how he bargained with that same man on a Five Million Naira contract agreement regarding Mrs Charity Onuoha’s grave. “Mica” as popularly known is now enjoying and receiving special treatment in police custody while awaiting trials. Michael Dimgbo is expected to feed the police with more information concerning his partners in such a devious crime. ‘Micah’ will also be called to book by the elders of the Community for treating, disrespecting and violating the law of the land, probably ostracized.
