The General Overseer of Lifeline Assembly, Bishop Maxwell Korie has been re-elected to run the affairs of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Imo State chapter for the next four years.
The poll which took place on Thursday, March 13, 2014 saw Bishop Korie coasting home to victory unopposed. Elections into other offices of the body were equally held.

A statement signed by the chairman of the Think-Tank Committee of the organization, Rev. Dr, uche Eneghara disclosed that the elections supervised by the National Vice President (East) and the State Advisory Council.
Others also elected were Pastor Ikenna Agugua (Deputy Chairman), Bishop Ezenna Egbo (Vice Chairman, Owerri Zone), Bishop Okafor (Vice Chairman, Orlu Zone), Prof. Oliver C. Alozie (Vice Chairman, Okigwe Zone), Rev. Dr. Anthony Nze (Secretary), Apostle Rowland Adiukwu (Financial Secretary), Pastor Julius Ononuju (Asst Financial Secretary) and Pastor Jarlat Onuegbu (Treasurer).
Others were Bishop Timothy Aaron (Public Relations Officer), Barrister Olehi (Legal Adviser), Pastor Jonathan Otuonye (Chairman, Disciplinary Committee), Rev. Dr. Austin Uchegbu (Programs Director), Rev. Dr. Uche Emeghara (Youth Director), Prof. Emmanuel Uzoma (Editor, PFN Magazine), Rev. A. C. Duru (Administrative Secretary) and Bishop Chris Elimiaga (Welfare Officer).
In his post-election speech, Bishop Maxwell Korie pledged to run an all-inclusive administration.
He reiterated his readiness to continue with his program of paying rural pastors monthly.
Bishop Korie, the General Overseer of Lifeline Assembly seized the opportunity to recount his achievements in his first term to include opening of a cooperative society for the PFN, celebration of pastors’ birthdays and offering of assistance to bereaved pastors.
He noted that his re-election is indicative of the confidence his colleagues reposed in him and pledged not to let them down.
