Anambra state born rapper Bosalin has taken a firm stance in what he does by stating clearly that music needs rappers to sustain it than singers of today in Nigeria music industry.
According to him, Nigeria singers especially those in the dance-hall genre, lack creativity and are just recyclers making music only for today, with no plans for the future.

He made the statement while speaking to www.otowngist.com after performing at Hot 99.5 FM pool party in Owerri Imo State.
“You can see it clearly that a singer can say shake your bum bum in all his tracks and people are still clapping for him. That’s lack of creativity. No rapper can do that, every rapper needs to sit down and think of fresh lines he has never used before and that is why rap music is more difficult than the singing thing we see in our music scene today”
He also said that the fans and audience of the singers can be as ‘dumb’ as the singers and still understand what the they are saying, but only intelligent people listen to rap music because it is not just music, it carries messages that can change the world.
More of his controversial statements are on the complete interview coming soon.
