Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has regretted the gruesome murder of an Imo born United States of America, USA, based renowned “show promoter”, Prince Noel Unegbu, in a hotel describing the killing as wicked, callous and heinous.
The governor said, for the murder to have come up now after the state has enjoyed peace and security since the inception of his government in 2011, calls for concerted actions to unravel the circumstances surrounding the murder and apprehend the culprits.

The governor therefore called on the police, and other Security Agencies in the state to leave no stone unturned in getting to the root of the murder and ensure that those directly and indirectly involved in the killing are caught and brought to book.
He urged Imo people to remain calm and assured that those behind the killing would not go unpunished reiterating the commitment of his government to the security of lives and property in the state.
